Pemko 18061 Nylon Brush Astragal

Brush gasketing products consist of dense type 6 nylon bristles. These gasketing products will conform to irregular surfaces making it an excellent product to seal almost any opening using a minimal closing force.

Brush Meeting Stile seals are designed to seal the gap between a pair of doors. They are usually supplied with a flat flange. Brush Meeting Stile seals are installed with two pieces of material with the nylon bristles "touch-fitting" between the pair of doors.

All brush seals come with #6 x 5/8" stainless steel sheet metal screws.

When installing pairs of fire doors care must be taken to maintain the requirements of NFPA 80.
Note: brush should mesh from 1/32" to 1/16".
This meeting stile is supplied with a Nylon Brush ("NB") insert - item number P516062 (available in gray and black).

• BHMA A156.22
• Category J and H gaskets for use with classified steel covered composite, hollow metal doors rated up to and including 3 hours; wood and plastic covered composite doors rated up to and including 1-1/2 hours; and wood core doors rated for 20 minutes without hose stream.
