McKinney T4A3795 4-1/2" Swing Clear Bearing Hinge, 5 Knuckle - Square Edged Door - Steel with Plated US26D finish

Swing Clear Hinges create barrier free openings by moving the hinge barrel and door edge out of the way. They are designed to swing the door completely clear of the opening when the door opening is opened at 95 degrees. Recommended for use on high frequency and/or heavy wood or metal doors in schools, hospitals or other public buildings. Hinge allows for maximum clearance for passage of beds, tables or other equipment through the doorway. Meets ADA Requirements and ANSI A117.1-1986. Pressed steel jambs require no special reinforcing. Pin is held in place by an NRP set screw, which allows the hinge to be reversible. Where doors are beveled on the hinge side, use T4A4795. Hinges are Heavy Weight .180 thickness and are furnished with all wood screws (1-1/4" x 12) and all machine screws (1/2" x 12-24)

Note: This hinge alters the normal pivoting point of the door. For door closers, friction or overhead door holders, to be used in conjunction with this hinge, consult the manufacturer of the device to be used for application details.
