Hager 721S Batwing Smoke & Draft Gasketing (Charcoal finish)

- Product Dimensions: 1/2" x 1/2" is standard. (Available Lengths: 721S is manufactured in lengths up to and including 9’0")

- Material Composition: 721S consists of a rigid PVC/TPE combined material incorporating a flexible graphite material.

- Stocked as Charcoal (black) color, other colors include Brown (dark brown), Tan (light brown), Gray and White available as quoted items

Temperature Exposure: 721S will remain flexible in a wide range of temperatures.

- The following is a guideline for properties of PVC.

(Environmental conditions and placement of the product may alter these temperature ranges)

- Cold: 721S should remain flexible to -30º F.

- Hot: 721S should remain flexible to 140º F.

Chemical Exposure: PVC resists most acids, strong Alkalis, salts and paraffinic hydrocarbon solutions. It is not recommended for use with chlorinated or aromatic hydrocarbons, esters or polar solvents such as ketones

- Expansion Characteristics: This product has no components for expansion.

- Temperature for Expansion: n/a.

- Rate of Expansion: n/a.

Moisture Resistance: Excellent resistance to water and humidity.

Special Handling Requirements: 721S should be stored at ambient temperatures between 40º F and 90º F. The adhesive backing used on 721S has a shelf life of 18 months. Stocks should be rotated to accommodate this aging.
