Folger Adam Electric Strike 310-4 24VDC 630 US32D Stainless Steel, Fail Secure
This industrial grade electric strike is used with rim exit devices with up to 3/4" pullman style latchbolts used on single door openings, or at the top of a frame for surface vertical-rod exit devices.
The 310-4 is a 3 hour fire-rated, industrial electric strike designed for extreme heavy duty applications. The all stainless steel construction of this devices makes it ideal for high abuse applications that would disable other electric strikes. The 310-4 has a unique 3/4" face plate with an intergraded 1/4" base shim that can be removed in the field to accommodate rim exit devices with a 1/2" or 3/4" throw latchbolt.

Folger Adam 310-4 Technical Tip
Sometimes a strike with a ¾" profile just won’t work in a particular application. This is common with aluminum frames or retrofits where the existing roller strike is only ½” high. Any more than ½” profile may require the exit device to be moved and re-installed.
Want an easier alternative? The Folger Adam 310-4 faceplate is packaged as a ¾” faceplate so it will work on most installations. However, this faceplate also features a removable shim--which decreases the profile to ½” so it can accommodate installations where a ¾” profile won’t work. The shim can be removed by simply loosening the screws which secure it to the faceplate. Overall, the 310-4 electric strike offers an easier alternative to relocating the exit device.
