PDQ 5301 DOOR CLOSER

The 5300 Series is a narrow style  full rack and pinion closer featuring a heavy duty cast aluminum closer body, stamped flat style arm assembly and streamline cover. Hydraulic control is achieved through separate hex-key non-critical sweep, latch and backcheck adjustments. An optional delayed action feature is available that is  effective from maximum opening to approximately 70 degrees. Closers are non-handed, suitable for regular, top jamb and parallel arm applications and come with fasteners for wood or metal doors and frames. Sex nuts and bolts are also furnished standard. Spring adjustment is provided throughout a range of sizes 1-6 making the 5300 capable of meeting barrier free opening force requirements. All products carry a 25-year manufacturer's limited warranty. The 5300 is listed by U.L./U.L.C., complies with UL 10C and UBC 7-2 (1997) for positive pressure and is certified to ANSI A156.4 Grade 1.

CERTIFICATION: U.L. and U.L.C. listed / Complies with UL 10C and UBC 7.2 (1997) / Conforms to the requirements of ANSI A156.4 Grade 1 / Meets the requirements of ANSI A117.1 and ADA. 

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Manufactured in the Republic of South Korea, a country that has signed a Trade Agreements Act with the U.S.A. and is identified as a Designated Country; thus, waiving the Buy American Act.

PA Arm = Tri Pack, can be used for regular arm mounting, top jamb mounting & parallel arm mounting- up to 180 degree swing.

HO Arm = Hold Open Tri Pack, can be used for regular arm mounting, top jamb mounting & parallel arm mounting - up to 180 degree swing.

DS Arm = Door Saver, heavy duty parallel arm mounting only with built in Stop - 110 degree maximum swing

DSHO Arm = Door Saver, heavy duty parallel arm mounting only with built in Stop & Hold Open - 110 degree maximum swing
